Over the Walt Disney World forums and message boards as well as on Usenet groups and various other places on the Internet, I have been hearing numerous stories about an outstanding Peter Pan who really gets into character and seems to go out of his way for guests (especially children)-- he has been known to spot certain children in parade crowds and even remember kids that he met a few years earlier!!!  Perhaps the best story I can come up with can be found on a Januray 5, 2000 rec.arts.disney.parks post at the URL below:

Would anyone here be able to locate this CM from the pics on thew URL's below-- if at all?

The Peter pictured in the bottom link doesn't appear to be over 12!  IIRC, the minimum age Disney hires for the character department is 16, so I guess he just looks young for his age!  Either that, or he was actually a park guest dressed as Peter Pan to feel like he was part of the magic; much like the little girls dressed as Cinderella and Snow White you sometimes see in the park.

Also, here is another link to a story found on http://allearsnet.com .  This story can be found on the main page, second article from the bottom.

I'm wondering if this is the same CM playing Peter Pan that has been mentioned many times in character stories over the last 6-7 years ver the Internet, or if it's just a big coincidence that the character (whether the same CM or not) that's been going out of their way to make the kids happy at WDW almost always happens to be Peter Pan.  It is quite coincidental to be the same character that many times!

BTW, Peter Pan (1953) is not my favorite Disney film (I generally prefer the more comical-type cartoons; as I said in my first post, Who Framed Roger Rabbit is my all-time favorite), but I would consider Peter Pan to be one of the better Disney films, IMHO.  More importantly, of all the stories I have read on the Internet about children interacting with Disney characters in the parks, by far the most memorable and touching are the stories about kids with Peter Pan-- particularly the Peter(s) described above!  Really is something for the younger kids who think that these CM's really are the characters!  :)

First, let me be perfectly clear on one point: there is only one Peter Pan.

That said, Peter has many "friends" at WDW. Your photos show at least three different "friends," so it's going to be real tough to figure out which "friend" you mean.

As for age, Peter has been twelve for a terribly long time now.
