My daughter will be turning 37 on our July trip.
I know about telling guest relations at resort and parks, but what else ?????  I really want this to be special since we are both big mickey fans.

Thanks  :upside:

TELL EVERYONE  - when you make PS, make sure you let them know.  When you check in, make sure you let them know.

Make sure she picks up her "Birthday Pin" from Town hall.  It'll let everyone know that "Today is my birthday".

Also, make sure you don't just let everyone know on her actual birthday - you should celebrate all week!

Oh, and I know there's a few places (outside services) that will come and decorate your hotel room, etc. while your out.

I've not used either, but I've heard great things about both!

Oh, and by the way, welcome to the Disney Echo!

Let me be the first to give you your echo ears!

Hi and Welcome, mousefever!  ;)

Lots of good suggestions from Beth, and I'll just add a bit more.

If you're planning to do a birthday lunch/dinner, there are several places that I've heard give it a special touch.  You might want to consider the Hoop de Doo, 'Ohana, 50s Prime Time or Crystal Palace.  Also, be sure to call the restaurant ahead of time to tell them about the celebration.  I suggest doing it directly with the restaurant, rather than Disney Dining, to be sure the info doesn't get lost.

Also, if it's in your budget, you might want to consider a birthday fireworks cruise.  It is expensive (about $220, I think), but a wonderful way to celebrate.  You can call 407-WDW-PLAY for reservations.

Don't forget to write a trip report and tell us all about it.

One thing you could do is the Tae at the Grand Floridian. Me and some Cyber- friends are meeting there the Day befor is my Sisters Birthday and I ordered her a cake. She dosen't know this yet but it will be fun. good Luck.
