Happy New Year, everyone!

Figured out how to program that new VCR or TiVo that you got for Christmas?

If you like to watch shows about the Disney parks, I hope you have, because there's quite a few shows to see this time. We have an especially good selection of Disneyland-related episodes of "Walt Disney Presents" -- guess the sales of the "Disneyland USA" DVDs impressed someone at The Disney Channel -- and there are a few good shows about WDW on some other cable channels. Let's get started! (It may be a new year, but my programming note is the same as always -  All times are PST and all shows are on The Disney Channel unless otherwise noted.)

A. Programs About Disney Theme Parks & Resorts

Wednesday, January 9, 2:00 a.m.:  Walt Disney Presents - "Disneyland's 25th Anniversary". Highlights of the 1980 celebration commemorating Disneyland's 25th anniversary with guests Danny Kaye, Michael Jackson, and The Osmonds.

Friday, January 11, 2:00 a.m.:  Walt Disney Presents - " A Progress Report/Nature's Half Acre". A progress report on the ongoing construction of Disneyland and a True-Life Adventure on the relationships between inhabitants of a half-acre of grassroots land.

Saturday, January 12, 2:00 a.m.:  Walt Disney Presents - "A Further Report on Disneyland/A Tribute To Mickey Mouse". An update on the progress of pre-opening construction at the Park and a tribute to the world's most famous mouse.

Tuesday, January 15, 2:00 a.m.:  Walt Disney Presents - "Disneyland Goes to the World's Fair." Walt takes you behind the scenes at the Studios and to New York to see the attractions planned for the 1964-65 New York World's Fair (and later, Disneyland).

Tuesday, January 15, 12:00 p.m. and Thursday, January 17, 8:30 a.m., Travel Channel: Great Hotels - "Disney's Grand Floridian." Host Samantha Brown shows us the premier hotel of the Walt Disney World resort.

Monday, January 21, 8:30 a.m., Travel Channel:  Great Hotels - "Animal Kingdom Lodge."  Host Samantha Brown  takes us on a tour of  Walt Disney World's newest resort.

B.  Shows With Segments About Disney Theme Parks

None  { C'mon, TV producers - show us some segments about Disney theme parks! :)  }

C. Shows Taking Place at Disney Theme Parks

Friday, January 11, 2:00 p.m., TBS:  Full House - "The House Meets The Mouse (Part 1)." The Tanner family visits Walt Disney World.

Friday, January 11, 2:30 p.m., TBS: Full House - "The House Meets The Mouse (conclusion)." Jesse & Jimmy have an unexpected visitor during their underwater radio show at Epcot; Danny proposes to Vicky.

Before I go, a quick apology to my regular readers who tried to tape the episodes of "Great Hotels" I had listed. The times I had for the show were Eastern time, not Pacific as they usually are. (I had a devil of a time explaining to my fiancée why I taped the "Ujena Swimsuit Model Competition" by mistake!) Not to worry, though -- the show times have been adjusted to Pacific time; if you're living in another part of the country, be sure to re-adjust the times accordingly. Other than that, that's about it, folks.

Here's wishing everyone the best of luck; I hope all your dreams and wishes come true in the year ahead {my biggest dream's a nice long trip to WDW -- come on, lucky lottery numbers!!! :) }.  I'll talk to you again soon!
