Yoo Hoo, everyone!

Boy, it's quiet out there! There aren't going to be a whole lot of programs about the theme parks on TV in the next two weeks; hopefully, the nice folks at the Disney Channel are planning a nice "valentine" to us fans in the form of lots of shows as we get closer to February 14. The bright side is that the programs that will be on the air are pretty good, so give them a look if
you haven't seen them. Here's what's coming up. (As always, all times shown are PST and all shows are on The Disney Channel unless otherwise noted.)

A. Shows About Disney Theme Parks and Resorts

Monday, January 21, 8:30 a.m.,and Wednesday, January 23, 12:00 p.m., Travel Channel:
Great Hotels - "Animal Kingdom Lodge." Host Samantha Brown  takes us on a tour of  Walt Disney World's newest resort.

Friday, February 1, 2:00 a.m.:
Walt Disney Presents - "Disneyland, the Park & Pecos Bill." A 1957 look at how the Magic Kingdom came about, including Walt taking us on an aerial tour of
the Park and featuing an appearance by the Mouseketeers. This episode also features Roy Rogers singing "Blue Shadows on the Trail" and the story of
Pecos Bill.

Saturday, February 2, 2:00 a.m.:
Walt Disney Presents - "Disneyland 10th Anniversary Show." Walt and 1965 Disneyland Ambassador Julie Reihm tour the Park's attractions and have a look at some attractions to come, such as the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.

B.  Shows With Segments About Disney Theme Parks

None.  { Like I said, folks, it's quiet out there...  }

C. Shows Taking Place at Disney Theme Parks

January 23, 12:00 p.m., The Learning Channel:
Wedding Story -"Kelly and Robert."  A couple prepare for their Disney fairy-tale wedding.

And that's all there is, there ain't no more! Have a good MLK Day, everyone, and I'll talk to you soon.
