I'm trying to firm up my itinerary for our week at Disney. We go on a Tuesday (April 29) and come back on a Tuesday (May 6). It's really two days of air travel, with six park/resort days in the middle.
I'm thinking after our Ohana meal at the Poly the first night, and a good night's sleep, we'll tackle the MK bright and early.
Oh, I should first say, I've got a son almost six and a daughter who is two and a half, and a hubby who is 38 and I'm 39 (turning 40 while we are there). We are a pretty sedentary family, so that's got me a little worried, fwiw.
Okay, so MK Wednesday morning, probably going to the hotel during the early afternoon, then back maybe 5-7.
Next, we are thinking maybe Epcot or Universal on Thursday.
If we want to go back to MK, based on crowds, etc., we'll go back Friday. What do you think, will one day at MK be enough?
Saturday is my birthday and we may do no parks, just rest after a our 11:40 priority seating at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary. We might just have a down day, enjoying the volcano pool, etc.....
Sunday we are going to AK, bright and early, and will leave when we feel done, even if it's before 5pm when they close. We could do Epcot's World Showcase that evening, and Illuminations.
Monday would be a good day for MGM, or perhaps Universal. Do you all think we need a full day at MGM? Or maybe we could do it on my birthday afternoon? I need to look up the predicted crowds at MGM on a Saturday, but something tells me it's a good day to avoid ALL the parks, . Well, another idea would be do to MGM and Epcot, half days, this day.
Tuesday we leave in the morning. I'm sure we'll be exhausted, but sad to go home, too.
Any and all opinions and advice welcome. Thanks!
