How many character meets does DCL have and where?
Posted by: LilMarcieMouse on Sep. 28, 2003 12:54 am/pm

There was a Character Meet every night in the Atrium. I got pictures with Mickey and Minnie, Chip and Dale, Pluto and Capt. Hook. I saw the queen of Hearts, Cinderella and Peter Pan with Wendy. There was a board in the Atrium that said who was where and when. On 7 day Cruises they have Character breakfasts. Even in some of the Ports they will be out too. If you time it right. I hope this helps I can't remeber the times that I saw them at but thats what the board it for, Right.

Ask more if I can answer I will Chris i hope you enjoyed the pictures. :mickey:

Yes, I did enjoy your pictures very much. :mickey:

Are the character meals only available for 7-day cruises? Chances are slim that I'll be able to take a full 7-day cruise.

We sailed on 8/24 to the 28th four days. The one who stands out with me is Albreto the Photographer.

you were on the boat the week before I was :) ...I remember Alberto from the time he took pictures of Minnie and a Special Needs child on Deck 9..it was sweet and he did a great job taking the pictures :)

Did you do any of the night life things on Deck 3? (Route 66)

Posted by: LilMarcieMouse on Sep. 30, 2003 12:10 am/pm

The only thing on Deck 3 we did was Bingo. We're not night life kind of people. We did do the shows and I went and watched Pirates one night. I did do a Trip Report called There's a first for Everything, if you would like to read it.

Alberto helped us in Shutter most nights and took our pictures on Castaway Cay. I took his Hee Hee. You must have gotten to see the Golden Mickey show lucky you. It started the trip right after us. Bummer.  If you did I'd like to hear about it.

Yes i did get to see the GOLDEN MICKEYs show.  It was awesome :) There was a good mix of older and newer characters in the show.  Lots of good lighting and use of the pit :) I am amazed that those crewmates can put on three shows a cruise in such a awesome manner.  wow
I am not really doing this show much justice but know that it was a GREAT one and should beat DREAMS as Cruise Line show of the year :)

Wonderful news! I just got together with my boss, and he assured me that it would be possible to schedule enough time for a 7-day cruise after all   I would just have to make sure it's far enough ahead in advance, to pay for it I would probably have to do it a year or so on advance, but hey who cares? It still looks like it's possible. Happy day! :mickey:  :minnie:
