Mouseke-Poll about World Showcase restaurants

Jeff / Sweetums
asked a very good question which I've decided to turn into a Disney Echo Mouseke-Poll:

What is your favorite restaurant at Epcot's World Showcase? Or which would you say is the best?

If there is more than one, that's okay -- just pick one to vote on and then reply with the others, too. Everyone should reply after voting to go into detail about what makes that restaurant or restaurants your favorite.

Registered Disney EchoEars (and not Guests) may vote once in this poll. After voting you will be shown the current vote totals. Note: If you click the button that says...

---------------------CODE SAMPLE-------------------
'View Results (Null Vote)'
---------------------CODE SAMPLE-------------------

...to view the totals before voting, you will not be able to vote later (because seeing the current voting patterns would have an influence on the outcome of the poll). You may only vote once.

What can I say? I love that Mole Poblano at Mexico's San Angel Inn. Any dish with chocolate in it is okay by me!

I voted for Teppanyaki (spelling?).  My wife and I went there on our trip (her first) a couple of years ago and it was lots of fun.  Also, very good food.

I also enjoy the Rose and Crown--love the fish and chips.

:)

On our trip this year, we plan on sampling as many WS restaurants as possible. Last time we only tried Mexico and Italy. I'll have a definitive answer in a couple of weeks. :happydance:

P.S. Is there anywhere is Epcot that sells Dole Whip? I've heard so much about them, but have never had one.

If you'll be going into the Magic Kingdom on your trip, head to Adventureland and you'll find the Dole Whip sold in the Caribbean-styled storefronts across from the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. I don't think they have any at Epcot.

this was hard because I have only eaten in 2 of them, I choose Le Cellier Steakhouse over Rose and Crown because there is more there I like eating. and the Maple Creme Brulee  :hearts: is out of this world. But i do l;ove love the Bangers and mash.   :hearts:

Actually, my favorite restuarant wasn't on the list.... My favorite is that little bakery on the side street in the French Pavillion.... I love :hearts: their cream puffs!

I agree that is a great place, Marsha. I love it, too. I had to limit the voting to only 10 choices, so I left out counter-service places. I hope you voted for the France category if you like the French bakery as your favorite.

Actually Rich, I voted for Mexico! I love the food there at the San Angel.....I have another reason I like the bakery.... I always buy a cream puff and some coffee, then I go over to the benches near the bridge and tourist watch!  It's always fun.... first timers are so in awe of the place! :D

Mmm.  This was a toughy.  I actually voted for Italy, but Italy and Mexico are both favorites.  I just picked Italy because it was listed first.

Yum, the dole whips are right were Rich mentioned.  The stand is called Aloha Isle.

Had 2 dole whips in one day :)  One on the way into Adventure Land and another on the way out LOL

On our last trip we had two Dole Whips for the price of one!

I told the CM we were going to split it between the 3 of us and we had heard so many good things about it that we had to try one.

He asked if I'd like it split into two cups in that case and I said sure.

Well, he filled both of those cups as full as they could get, so we surely got two for the price of one that time!

Hey,

I love eating in the world showcase. I've tried them all and enjoy something at each one. My favorite has to be Le Cellier, though. The prime rib sandwich is the best sandwich I have ever eaten.

I have to agree with this one being a *toughie*! We've eaten at all except the Bistro, and although LeCellier is our favorite, Rose and Crown comes in as a close second. The fish & chips are great, and so are most of the appetizers! We also like eating outdoors, especially at night to watch Illumionations! Then there's Morrocco...another favorite.

Yes! And I intend to do something about it on Tuesday at Hollywood & Vine just before we go to Fantasmic!

Only if you go outside after finishing your meal.

Oh, and to answer the other question about is anyone here getting hungry, take a look at this and see if it makes your mouth water...

SWEET SENSATIONS

Chocolate lovers can explore the history and production of chocolate at the new Piemonte: the Land of Chocolate exhibit presented by the Regione Piemonte during the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Oct. 18-Nov. 16 at Epcot. The popular exhibit, located at the Italy pavilion, offers complimentary chocolate culinary demonstrations, plus a Kidcot FunStop where kids can decorate a chocolate mask.

I love the Biegarten, not only for the food (bratwurst - yum!)but for the interaction among the guests. It makes the day that much more special to talk to others and learn about new places.
I am really doing my best to get in to visit Alfredo's one day, I just can't seem to make it before they book up for the time slots that I want.

Am I really the only person who loves Akershus? I can't get enough lefse and pickled herring when I go there.

After that, though, it's a tie between Marrakesh and Rose and Crown (which, let's be honest, I go to more for the beer than the food.)
