Are dormer ("attic") rooms at the Grand Floridian more expensive than standard rooms? Are lagoon view lodge tower rooms more expensive than garden view lodge tower rooms? Dormer rooms are not listed separately on the GF room rates page at Disneyworld.com and lodge tower rooms have no separate garden or lagoon prices listed; it just says "lodge tower, $405." Can anyone clear this up for me?

I don't think the dormer rooms are more expensive than standard rooms. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please!
Although standard rooms and dormer rooms have the same features, the dormer rooms are smaller (by 3 feet) and only sleep 4 instead of 5 people. You'll get a tall vaulted ceiling in the dormer room, however, as well as a private balcony. The balconies on the standard rooms are not private.

Here's how the pricing at the GF works, going upwards to more expensive each step:
  • Garden View - patios or balconies overlooking the GF's landscaped gardens
  • Pool/Marina View - patios or balconies with views of the pool in the courtyard pool or the GF marina off Seven Seas Lagoon
  • Lagoon View - patios or balconies with views of Seven Seas Lagoon, possibly including a view of the Magic Kingdom
  • The Main Building has some Magic Kingdom view rooms including views of Cinderella Castle (this includes the Jacuzzi honeymoon rooms).
You also have the choice of
  • Lodge Tower
  • Concierge rooms with Garden/Pool/Marina views
  • Deluxe and Honeymoon Concierge rooms, and Suites.

Lodge tower rooms have their own (high) price and the rate doesn't depend on the view because you can see all around through five windows. From outside you'll see some GF buildings have semi-circular rooms - - these are the lodge tower rooms. In addition to what's in a standard room you'll have a separate sitting area with more furniture, phone and TV. In addition to the great view, you get a separate balcony.

Thanks for the great info, Rich! I'm dreaming of a Disney trip far, far in the future... GF for three days, then Polynesian for four. But being myself, I'm already planning!
:D
