Thanks for the response. As for Jackson, IMHO/YMMV, I heard a commentator on the radio today comment "You know...what if he (Jackson) is innocent? It would be like the Richard Jewel incident (the suspect originally charged with setting off an explosive during the Atlanta Summer Olympic Games amid crowds of people aa few years ago, was charged and put through a lot, later found out he definitely didn't do it). " This is not condoning or excusing or defending any allegations against or on behalf of Michael Jackson. But the media circus is on a rush to judgement, just like with these Kobe Bryant and Scott Peterson cases, and the facts just are not out there for anyone to know for sure what happened and the rumor mill is notoriously unreliable. All this has to play out. But it's sickening to see Michael Jackson now, how there is such a rush to knock the man over, as well as the results of the facial surgery he's had not looking too good in the police mug shot. I also feel for these victims bringing the allegations. If true, the law and justice system simply must do what they must do to protect the public and children. Scales of justice are supposed to be balanced for everyone, everyone treated the same, including the celebrities who, if charges prove true, need to pay their debt to society.
"Captain EO" was so much fun, so was the music and dancing from "Thriller" and "Bad". Michael Jackson's early hits from the Motown childhood days through "Bad" were memorable, fun. I hope no matter what happens people can still look on that music and how the man held himself out to the public as the greatness it was at the time and dwell on that for awhile. In hindsight, we'll never know if the public persona we knew between the childhood Motown days on to "Bad" was who Michael Jackson really was, or what personal demons he fought. Talent and the positive aspects of it and the fame of show business are so fleeting, anyway. At least we had good times.
One of Michael's Jackson's albums has a terrific inspirational song on it called "Man in the Mirror". Lyrics go "I'm looking at the man in the mirror, I'm asking him to change his ways, and no message could be any clearer, if you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself, and make that change." I hope Michael Jackson can take the advice from his own hit song. If all this proves true, getting caught could save and turn around his life, in a way, though his life after this can't go back to his days of excess, he'll be ruined as all of us may view and judge his life. But a good judge and a fair jury will determine all that.
The details coming out are definitely sickening, though.

). Regrettably, Mr. Jackson has some very troubling personal issues that have gotten to be dealt with very soon, and I feel that some form of therapy would be very good for him. I believe that he has lost some sense of what is in the "real world", and as a result, his judgement is being clouded. Whether or not this is leading to the extent of him being capable of performing the allegations placed before him remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure - he needs some help, or he is destined for some form of personal tragedy.
