Disney's promotional site for this feature length animation movie is now up, film will be rated PG, will be a musical.  Trailer can be viewed at (and other promotional features for this site likely will be added as opening date of April 2, 2004 approaches):

This trailer is being shown with "Brother Bear".

This movie has some possibilities!  But judging solely by the trailer on the above site I would personally love it if ZZ Top did more of the music for it.   :cowboy:  :buttrock:  And if Disney follows through to premiere "The Alamo" in April 2004 then April 2004 seems like it will be Texas Disney Synergy Month at the house of Mouse.

Which do any of you like better and think is more promising about Home on the Range:  The trailer being shown now on the official movie Internet site and in the theatres with Brother Bear, or the trailer that is on the Finding Nemo DVD (they are not the same)?  My vote:  The former.  My "fear":  The movie will turn out like the latter.

I have the same fear, Carol. Here's what I wrote about the Home on the Range trailer in a message about the Finding Nemo DVD:

I like the version of the trailer in the theaters and < online > but I don't like the trailer on the DVD. Perhaps since the DVD had a deadline for the pressing of all of the DVDs, the date was earlier for when the DVD needed a trailer than the movie theaters and online needed a copy of it? That's the only way I can explain that the DVD trailer stinks but the online and in-theater version of the trailer seems funnier and better.

Gotta a question  :D  Is HOME ON THE RANGE hand drawn or done on computer?  To be honest with you I have had this question answered but dont remember what I was told...typical  :D

Thanks in advance for the answer

It is hand-drawn with the usual computer CGI assists where needed, as Disney has done lately. All the main characters are completely hand-drawn.
