I am leaving for the Polynesian in 11 days  :D  We will be flying and will not have a car. My 16 yr old son has asked if we can visit the non-disney (Universal Studios) parks since we will be there for 10 days. He can't seem to get enough of the rides.

My problem will be transportation to and from the parks. I thought about using Mears but I want something more flexable to my schedule. I have found out through Tara at the Polynesian concierge that they do have an on site car rental (National car rental). My question is, has anyone ever used them and what are the prices? I will only need the car for 2 days the most and there are three passangers.

If anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.  :help:

Hi Nadine!  Just got back from WDW yesterday.  We used a car for one day, too. I just made our car reservation through the National web site.  The shuttle came and picked us up at the Poly (concierge arranged for me), and we rented a mini van at the Car Care Center site (was supposed to be an SUV, but they were out, but that was okay, because I wanted a mini van anyway!  At the time I made my ressie, the web search came up empty on the vans at that location, but turned out not to be so.) Alamo and National are now jointly owned, so you can rent via Alamo or National, I think.  We paid $117 for the van for one day.  I'm sure they have the economy class there, too, but not sure of the pricing.  Check the web site.
