I hate to carry a lot of cash on vacation so I usually use credit card or charge to room.  Sometimes I do like to get extra cash.  Does anyone know if there is an ATM machine in the Poly or parks?

Yoo Hoo, Frenchie!

One moment, while I move this topic to the WDW message forum since you're also asking about ATM's in the parks (as well as the Polynesian Resort)...

Welcome to the Disney Echo, Frenchie!

In the Polynesian Resort, an ATM is located in the Great Ceremonial House next to the Disney Vacation Club desk, near the hallway to Captain Cook's and the shops.

At Disney's Animal Kingdom, the ATM is on the right near the park entrance.

At the Magic Kingdom, ATMs are located
  • to the right of the park entrance
  • next to the Disney Vacation Club stand in Adventureland
  • next to Space Mountain in Tomorrowland

At Epcot, ATMs are located
  • to the left of the outside of the park entrance as you face the park
  • near Pizza Planet Arcade by the restrooms

There are also ATMs in the water parks and Downtown Disney, as well as the other Disney Resorts.

Thanks for the great question, Frenchie! I have a mouse-eared lei for you right here. Thanks for joining the Disney Echo!

Hello Frenchie, and Welcome - hope you have a great time down here in central Fl. @ Walt Disney World!!
Don't forget that WDW will also accept American Express, Mastercard, Visa, (remember the checkcards!;), Discover,CarteBlanche, and Diner's Club, as well as Personal checks as long as you have picture I.D. and a major credit card.

...if you want to avoid carrying cash or your credit cards, if you're staying in the resort, they can set up your room key/ticket so that you can use it and have purchases be charged to your credit card or debit card.  (I think you can also have them charge to your hotel bill, but I'm not 100%)

Of course, you'll still have to make sure you really keep a good eye on that one card and make sure you always have it on you at all times, but it's better than having to carry a handful of cards and cash.

You are correct, they will post to your hotel bill. In addition, remember pacakage delivery to your resort at the parks and Downtown Disney, it makes it SO much easier than lugging bags of merchandise around!
