I hated to do it, but I just cancelled my trip to WDW over thanksgiving :( The reason being, that my wifes sister and her family ive in London (brother in laws in the service stationed there right now) They will only be there for another 10 months or so.  My wife has been begging to go visit, but I told her that there was no way we could afford it.  Well, I was checking airfares one day a couple weeks ago, and found round trip tickets to London from philly for all 5 of us for $1635.00.  We'll have a free place to stay, and food will be provided.  The only other out of pocket expenses will be for day trips, or sightseeing, plays, etc.  I would love to rent a car and see scotland, whales, etc while there.  Also I have found very cheap flights to Ireland (both my wife and I are partly Irish),and france from london. Although I have  mixed emotions about adding any money into the french economy right now, due to their stance on the war.  If anyone has been to the UK, or visited, I would love to ear your ideas on what NOT to miss while there.  Obviously, I gave in, and we will be there for two weeks in the beginning of April.  We figured this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity, and a great experience for the kids(ages 12,12,14) to broaden their perspectives. WDW will always be there, right?  So, our trip to FW will be delayed till next thanksgiving.  Waiting to hear from you world travelers!! :flag:
thanks again,    Scott
