Yoo Hoo, Disney EchoEars and hello again, everyone!

Before we get into the listings, I want to share some exciting news - Disney has announced a new channel! It'll be called Theme Park Disney, and it'll feature all your favorite TV shows about the Disney theme parks and shows from the Disney archives that haven't been seen for years, plus new programs on the parks as well as current and upcoming attractions. All that plus the "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip For Today" from WDW Resort TV and (what did you expect, it's Disney) lots of promos for the parks. Watch for Theme Park Disney on your local cable and satellite systems; you'll find it in the slot formerly occupied by ABC.

Oh, don't we all wish. April Fool!

But seriously, folks, to the listings. I hope you've been taping all your favorite shows about the parks when they've been coming up, because there's not going to be much on the air for the next two weeks (and no,this is not another April Fools' joke). According to my sources, we've got exactly two shows to look forward to in the next two weeks - guess somebody decided we didn't need the distraction while we're working on our taxes or something.

Well, my sources have been known to be wrong before, and if I find some additional information I'll be back here to post it as soon as possible.

Here's what's coming up. (As always, all times are PST and all shows are on The Disney Channel unless otherwise noted.)

A. Shows About Disney Theme Parks

Wednesday, April 3, 2:00 a.m.:
Walt Disney Presents - "Disneyland's 25th Anniversary"
A 1980 television special commemorating Disneyland's 25th anniversary hosted by Danny Kaye and featuring Michael Jackson, The Osmonds, and numerous other stars in cameo appearances.

Thursday, April 4, 2:00 a.m.:
Walt Disney Presents - "A Progress Report/Nature's Half Acre"
A progress report on the ongoing construction of Disneyland, including stop-motion photography of the construction, a model of Main Street U.S.A. and a drive through the unfilled Jungle Cruise riverbed. The episode also includes a True-Life Adventure on the relationships between inhabitants of a half-acre of grassroots land.

And believe it or not, that's all there is! Well, maybe there'll be more next time. Until then, take care, everyone, and I'll talk to you again soon.
