Have you ever purchased a souvenir at a Disney theme park that, once you got it home, are so very glad you did buy it?  It charms you or warms your heart in some way, is partucularly cute or useful or memorable for you and a kajillion dollars offered to you wouldn't buy it away from you?

I don't know about taking the kajillion dollars or not, but there's a set of ladies' Disney pajamas I like a lot.  The top is short sleeved trimmed in gray and the fabric is a soft stretchy knit in a sepia-toned off-white neutral.  Has three Disney characters on the top and embroidered on it "Walt Disney World".  But it's the pajama pants that are special.  In the same neutral off-white color as the top, in gray toile, are Disney characters and the signature buildings of WDW, such as the castle, Epcot's Spaceship Earth, Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom, etc.  The pants have a drawstring at the waist.  It's of a cotton-like fabric and not a knit.  These are very comfortable, are holding up well in laundry, and cute.   I bought at World of Disney at Downtown Disney Marketplace using annual passholder's discount, but you can buy them also at the some of the resorts' apparel stores and from WDW Mail Order Merchandising.

Also in the clothing department, there are several styles of Disney Hawaiian shirt for sale.  One has the logoes of the Disney WDW theme parks including Downtown Disney.  We got ours at the Polynesian and World of Disney at Downtown Disney Marketplace and it's also orderable from WDW Mail Order Merchandising.  There are several styles of Disney Hawaiian shirt for sale, but only one tied to the WDW parks.  They fit larger than the size would indicate, "large" is huge!

A professionally taken family portrait is great as a souvenir.  I can see how, from one visit to the next, our son is growing up.  One year we had to hold him in our arms for the photographer, now Michael is tall enough he stands on his own.  The overlays and matte photosleeve enhance each photo.

What's your favorite Disney theme park souvenir that you bought, either currently for sale or purchased in the past?  And what makes it so special for you?

In May 1981, we went to WDW for our first anniversay. I always love the Disney Christmas shops (even in the summer). At that time, the shop was in an alcove off Main St. We bought a stained glass of Mickey, Minnie and Pluto sitting near a fireplace with the snow coming down outside.

Each time we have gone back, I always find something unique in the Christmas shop (it's changed locations so we have to go looking for it).

I wonder what I'll bring back this time!

I'm glad I got a Hawaiian shirt at the Polynesian Resort on our trip there this year as well as Pal Mickey. Both are coming back with me to WDW next week!

My favorite souvenir is the print of Mickey and the firefighter. Me being a firefighter myself, it had special significance. My wife and I had it framed and put up as soon as we could.
