Yoo Hoo and hello again, everybody!

Well, things look pretty good as far as shows about the Disney parks this time around; unfortunately, we don't have anything new coming up in the next two weeks, but there is a nice variety of some old favorites available, so while the rest of the family is hogging the TV watching basketball ( Go Lakers! ) or hockey ( Go Ducks! ), you folks who are Disney fans and not sports fans have some options. Here's what's coming up. (As always, all times are PDT.)

A. Shows About Disney Theme Parks and Resorts

Tuesday, May 13, 2:00 p.m., and Thursday, May 15, 9:00 a.m., Travel Channel:
Great Hotels - "Disney's Grand Floridian"
Host Samantha Brown shows us around the premier hotel of the Walt Disney World resort and has some fun at the Magic Kingdom.

Monday, May 19, 9:00 a.m., Travel Channel:
Great Hotels - "Disney's Yacht & Beach Club"
Host Samantha Brown takes us on a tour of Walt Disney World's seaside-themed resorts and nearby attractions, such as Disney's Boardwalk and Epcot's World Showcase. Watch as Samantha finds out why the sundae at Beaches and Cream is called "The Kitchen Sink!"

Sunday, May 25, 8:30 a.m., Travel Channel:
Great Hotels - "Disney's Wilderness Lodge"
Host Samantha Brown explores the Walt Disney World hotel inspired by the great national park lodges, going on a quest to find the Fire Rock Geyser and taking a wild ride through the wilderness on the Magic Kingdom's Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Monday, May 26, 7:00 a.m., Travel Channel:
"Walt Disney World Resort: Behind the Scenes"
Explore the history and the inner workings of the Florida Disney theme parks in an in-depth, behind the scenes tour of America's favorite vacation destination.

Shows With Segments About Disney Theme Parks

Sunday, May 18, 10:00 p.m., and Monday, May 19, 3:00 a.m., 6:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 2:00 p.m., The Science Channel:
The Secret World Of... - "Theme Parks"
Explore how more and more theme parks are working to create new ways of looking at or even creating reality. Includes a segment about Disneyland.

C. Shows Taking Place At Disney Theme Parks

Saturday, May 17, 11:30 a.m., and Saturday, May 24, 11:30 a.m., Do It Yourself Channel:
"Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival 1999"  Highlights of the 1999 edition of the annual event held at Walt Disney World.

D. Bonus - Shows With Segments About Ultimate Disney Collectors

Saturday, May 17, 9:00 a.m., Arts & Entertainment Television:
"The Incurable Collector"
Features a segment on the Disney Tattoo Guy and his very large collection of Disneyana. (For those of you who haven't seen or heard of him before, you'll have to see it to believe it...)

And that's all she wrote, folks! Thanks for reading, and have a wonderful next couple of weeks. If I bored anyone by playing things too straight this time, not to worry - I'm just really busy this time, I'm sure I'll be back to my abnormal self by the next time you hear from me!
:)
Take care, everyone.
