You can subscribe to MouseNotes (see the red box above) and you can watch for announcements here on the Disney Echo, if you'd like.
Scottwdw has information about the princesses: Cinderella is at Cinderella's Gala Feast at the Grand Floridian as well as in the Magic Kingdom at Cinderella's Royal Table Character Breakfast. < Details are here. >
He also has details about the < Princess Storybook Character Breakfast > in Epcot's Norway. Here's where you'll find Belle, Mulan, Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty, Princess Jasmine, and --yes -- even Snow White.

My site also has a Character Location Spreadsheet. Go to the < PS Toolbox Page > for the latest version. Princess' are very important to Disney, watch for more special events in the future.

I'd like to jump on this thread with a question too. Does anyone have ANY info on a "boys" character meal?
Disney offers the breakfast with the Princess's but they have yet to offer anything for the boys. I know it was said elsewhere, but if they had an"Adventurer's breakfast" with Peter Pan, Hercules, Aladdin, etc - even Woody and Buzz - I think my son would just about fall over....

There's been many rumors about a Toy Story character meal over the past two years but nothing ever official.
An idea I've seen kicked around is similiar to your suggestion, Beth, called a Hero's Character Meal. This meal would be held at Hollywood & Vine for breakfast and lunch and use characters from the latest Disney and/or Pixar animated features. And, H&V is roomy enough for even some of the larger characters. In this way, the characters could change over time to promote the latest Disney movies. Hey, I believe 'synergy' is something entertainment companies strive for, right?
As for all the princess offerings, that's an easy one for Disney, princess merchandise is a BIG money maker for them. I guess male oriented merchandise isn't as big but it's hard to believe Toy Story isn't. However, with Pixar, maybe Disney has their hands tied on how they can use the characters in the parks? They are always in meet & greet areas or parades. Never seen them in any character meal or outside of MGM (except maybe in MK parades) for that matter.
Just keep emailing WDW, maybe they'll get the hint soon!
