 It would figure that I *finally* figure out to add a countdown clock to my siggy with less than a week to go.

Oh well- I'll know how to do it next time though :D

When we get back, I can start the countdown for December 2004 :pixiedust:

That's great! How did you figure it out?

I'm still trying to find a very easy, customizable way to add that as a permanent feature here on the Disney Echo.

Rich,

Someone posted a link to one on the PassPorter Boards. Countdown clock (never posted a link before-hope it works)

Use copy and paste to apply it to your signature on your EchoEars profile.

Hope it works for everyone else.

 It's actually a countdown for cruises, but hey- it works for me :D

Yoo Hoo, Kathy!

Very cool!

Disney EchoEars, after you use that link and fill out the form, press the "Generate HTML Clock code" and copy all of the code that will be displayed. Then go to "Your MouseControl Panel" here on the Disney Echo and then click "Personal Info" followed by "Edit your profile."

Then, scroll down to "Your Signature" and paste it in the text entry box there. Don't forget to leave the lines that have your and Disney EchoEars gif code so they'll still be displayed!

As you can see from my countdown clock, it is completely customizable. Mine is actually counting up to show how long ago I was at Walt Disney World!

I also used the [size] and [b] commands to make my customized text larger.

:clapping:

It doesn't seem to be working any more. I think that website )(that the countdown clock links to) got overloaded.

I'm in the process of trying to have something like that built-in to this website so we won't run into problems like that.

My countdown clock is my daughter.
Everytime I say the word Disney, she can tell me how soon we are going. As of 10-12-03, 11:30pm -
20 days, 5 hours. :happydance:

LOL

My kids are my clock as well, every morning they wake me up and inform me how many days until we arrive at Disney.  Of course now that we're only a few days away, they are extra excited (as my wife and are as well :) !

Yoo Hoo, Disney EchoEars!

If anyone wants to post a test message to see if their countdown clock is working, please go to the Disney Echo Test Track area to do so.

And actually, you don't even need to post a test message if you've added the countdown clock into your signature... After adding it you can go to the signature area of Your MouseControl Panel again and it will be displayed -- or if you've previously written a message on the Disney Echo it will automagically appear there, too.

:)
