Yoo Hoo, Disney EchoEars!

I was informed by a modEARator here that even though they had set their Topic Mouseke-Tracker to let them know when there are new messages posted to their forum that they saw a new topic appear which they didn't get email about. After I got that MickEmail, this happened to me, too.

Here's what's going on and how to fix it. First, go to "Your MouseControl Panel" and click "Email Settings." Then change the number in the box to the left of "Number of days a topic subscription lasts" from the default 30 days to 999 days (the maximum you're allowed to enter). This will prevent any new subscriptions to your Topic Mouseke-Tracker from expiring after a month.

Now, you'll need to cancel any and all of your currently-subscriped to topics already in your Topic Mouseke-Tracker. While still in "Your MouseControl Panel," click "Topic Mouske-Tracker" and then wait for a bit while the Disney Echo software builds a list of all the topics and forums you are currently subscribed to. This might take a few minutes if you are already subscribed to many topics!

After the page displays all of your tracked topics, click where it says "Click to cancel your (number appears here) subscriptions." Then, go to whatever forum you're interested in -- but don't click on any of the topics in that forum. Instead, scroll down and click where it says "Mouseke-Track this Forum" and then you'll be notified by email when any new message or reply appears there. Repeat this for any forum you're interested in on the Disney Echo -- or you can choose to Mouske-Track individual messages only by selecting one of those messages that you're interested in and then clicking on "Mouseke-Track this topic" (and you'll need to repeat that for any individual thread of messages you're interested in Mouseke-Tracking).
