I love the MickEmail and really love the voice choices you get for hearing new mail from the characters! I just have a techie question. Whenever I log into my MickEmail account the "new mail" voice window appears but it's always reset to the first greeting. Is there a way to change/set it so I can hear a different greeting message whenever I log in?

Ah, you're talking about the Free MickEmail button above in the mouse-eared navigation bar that gets you a free account at everyone.net, so that your email address would be WhateverNameYouPick @DisneyFANtasEARS.every1.net

I'm sorry, but that's the best I can do because I'm not a programmer. And you might also have noticed that it always announces you have new mail even if you don't.

It is more of a free gift of hearing the Disney Characters announce that you have new mail in their own unique way, rather than a user-settable function.

Something you can do if you know how to work with web browsers and how your computer's sound functions are set up (and please, don't ask me for the steps to do this, it is too complicated! ) is to take those sound files and then use them as your computer's New Email notification sound. That would be the only way you could set it as you like it, and even then it wouldn't work that way with the every1.net account, only email you get from your ISP.

That's okay Rich, I understand. :)

Don't worry, fortunately I do already know how to download sound bytes and put them in my own email... that's an excellent idea, I never thought of that! In fact I should be kicking myself for not thinking of it earlier since I've been doing it for ages and didn't think of it myself! :blush2: All I have to do is figure out where the actual wav sound byte is located so I can download it is all. :)

It's still cute anyway, I still like it! :mickey:  Was just wondering.
