ZZZZZZ...Please, Mom, I don't wan't to go to school today...zzz.. HUH?!?

Who?!? What?!? Where?!?

Oh, Yoo Hoo, everyone - sorry about that. Just got back from a lovely week in Anaheim with my lovely fiancee at the NFFC Convention, and I've been busy trying to catch up on everything. Actually, looks like I couldn't have chosen a better week to be late - pickings for us Disney theme park fans are a might slim this time out. Ah, well -- a little Disney is better than none at all. Here's what's coming up. (As always, all times are PDT and all shows are on The Disney Channel unless otherwise noted.)

A. Shows About Disney Theme Parks and Resorts

Sunday, July 28, 2:00 a.m.:
Walt Disney Presents - "Disneyland 10th Anniversary Show"
Walt and 1965 Disneyland Ambassador Julie Reihm tour the Park's attractions and have a look at some attractions to come, such as the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. The future attractions segment at the beginning of the show features a veritable "who's who" of  Disney Legends from Walt Disney Imagineering-- Marc Davis, John Hench, and Mary Blair, just to name a few.

Sunday, August 4, 8:00 a.m., Travel Channel:
Great Hotels: "Disney's Yacht & Beach Club"
Host Samantha Brown takes us on a tour of  Walt Disney World's seaside-themed resorts and nearby attractions, such as Disney's Boardwalk and Epcot's World Showcase. Watch as Samantha finds out why the sundae at Beaches and Cream is called "The Kitchen Sink!"

B. Shows Taking Place at Disney Theme Parks

Wednesday, August 7, 8:00 a.m., Sunshine Network:
"Florida High School Sports Awards"
Ceremonies from WDW honor the state's top prep athletes and coaches in 20 sports. The Raptors' Vince Carter is the featured speaker.

And that's all I have - I told you the pickings were slim! Have a good next couple of weeks; I'll be back on my usuual schedule again around August 4th.

Until then, take care.
