You know you're a big Disney fan (or a fanatic?) when...

...you're watching "Family Feud" on TV and at first glance you think the show's logo in the bottom corner of the screen says "Disney Feud"

You know you're a big Disney fan (or a fanatic?) when...

...you read my message where I mentioned that the tree at the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse is a Disneydendron semperflorens grandis and you thought to yourself, "Yeah, I remember hearing that someplace before."

You know you're a big Disney fan (or a fanatic?) when...

...you get Carnation Hot Chocolate at the supermarket because when you drink it you think "mmmm that's Disney World hot chocolate!"

That's from a message by Al Schaefer on rec.arts.disney.parks.

Similarly, you know you're a big Disney fan (or a fanatic?) when...

...you go to your local grocery store and buy the dark chocolate dove ice cream bars and close your eyes and pretend it's in the shape of Mickey!  :mickey:  :icecream:

That one comes from a message by Beth / Liv2CdWorld here on the Disney Echo.

You know you're a big Disney fan (or Fanatic) when...

You know more about Disney than all of your local travel agents

..........

You take pictures of the parades every time, only to find out when you get home that you already have 5 sets of the same pictures

Boy, this thread is going to be a good one  :tounge:

You ever waited for the front of the monorail

You ever waited for the front of the monorail for more than 2 or 3 trains to go by

You know to signal the CM by touching your nose to ask them if the front is open

You keep wandering into your local Disney store every day to window shop and just gaze around at all the decorations and everything simply because you're "homesick" for a Disney park.

You stand at the big display screen and just wait for all the other ads and such to be through so you can watch the advertisements for Walt Disney World and Disneyland because you're "homesick" for the parks.

You've done the above so much that you know the entire reel by heart and can easily go about your business elsewhere, making occasional glances through the window of the Disney store and think "Okay, after this is the 'Holes' ad and two more follow, and then the next park ad will come on and then I'll go in to watch.........."

You dream of losing yourself at WDW forever and living on the DCL when the Disney store's WDW ad is finally shown.

The gentle lullaby-style music of the Disney store's Disneyland ad makes you cry with pleasure every time you hear it while enjoying the DL ad.

The clerks know and recognise you by this point and have come to expect you to drop in, and they always remark how "precious" it is that you're standing there full grown and getting tears in your eyes from watching the Disney park ads every time you drop by.

You confess on the Echo to actually doing all the above six things - which is what I am doing right now! :blush2:

...your family, friends and even your kid's friends say "Let's ask Sue, she'll know".

...you become the Disney movie/book "library".

...even your bathroom is decorated with Mickey.

:D

... when you buy the next travel book as soon as it comes out, when you aren't going to WDW for a year.  LOL

... when you check every week to see if the hotels/motels have the next year's prices updated so that you can reserve the rooms for next year.  :hearts:

Uh....when you spend your first hour or so at work reading and responding to posts at a Disney message board...?....  :D

You know you're a big Disney fan (or a fanatic?) when...

When you visit the Magic Kingdom so often that Cast Members ask you where the nearest restroom is.

When every room in your house is decorated with a different Disney theme.

When Guest Relations Cast Members at City Hall call you at home to get help answering the really tough questions!

When you can answer those questions off the top of your head.

And especially...
When you don't even have to make this stuff up. :buttrock:

....When you can find a hidden Mickey without trying. :mickey:

.....When you have the Chicken Quseadilla at Taco Bell because it reminds you of the one you had at ASMo.

.....When you can find a time to quote a line from a Disney Movie because it fits the situation.

1. Your family compares all chick strips EVERYWHERE to the chicken strips from Disney World.

2. When ever any mentions any Disney attraction, you instantly think of the fastest, most efficient way to get get there from any point in DW.

Okay, here goes....

When your CM friend (who has been there pretty much since the park opened) Asks you what's going on with the parks...

when you buy not 1, but 4 favorite guidebooks every year (even if you're not going) just to read stuff again you mostly already know...

when you work for two different food establishments on I-95, and ask your customers where they're heading, then loan them the guidebooks you bring to work everyday... (You get a lot of families at McDonalds! )  Plus offere park and resort tips... then, ask them to stop back by on the way back so you can hear about their trip....

when your best friend begs you to go somewhere else on vacation  (there are other places to go?)

when you find yourself eavesdropping at the Disney Store or a bookstore for people going to the parks so you can bring up the subject to them...

When your daughters (19) roll their eyes when you excitedly want to show them something new you found out or bought Disney....

When every holiday, the only thing you can think of for a big family get together is to try to con them into a WDW reunion
(this has not worked for me yet)...

When your favorite park shirt wears out you call the merchandise dept and order another one so you can wear it when you go back down to the park... (My favorite TOT shirt has been replaced 3 times so far...)

Finally, when all your friends just plain think you're
