Hi I was wondering if anyone knew if you could upgrade to concierge after already booking for an intimate wedding? Do you think that we could do this or that it is worth just waiting to see if we can be upgraded when we get there? We are leaving in about 2 weeks and this is our first time staying at the polynisian and where also wondering what long house to stay at...what rooms are good so forth???All info will be wonderful...thank you :bowling:

Welcome and thanks for posting. If you want to stay concierge I would suggest booking now. You can wait but the concierge rooms are limited and most times of the year are booked. I have been looking at dates myself and many are full. If you book concierge and are there after October 17th you will be in Hawaii longhouse. As far as recommending a longhouse to stay in other than concierge I would just read through some of the posts. I donít like to suggest a longhouse with out any info on what you are looking for since every longhouse has different good things about it and everyone has a different point of view as to which longhouse is best.

The Polynesian can be a very special place and it has become full of memories for my wife and I. We were engaged there, honeymooned and our first anniversary was spent there. I would suggest (just my opinion) that a lagoon view is a great way to introduce yourself to the place. There is not many things in WDW like sitting on your patio or balcony and enjoying the view of the Seven Seas lagoon, fireworks, electric water pageant and all that goes on around the lake. If you are going after October 17th than I would try for Tahiti. You can get a lagoon view room there and you will be right next to the TTC. Please refer to my web page for photos and info also to help you decide on what to do. (link below)

Yoo Hoo and aloha, Amy 615aim!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and WDW trip. Since you'll be honeymooning at the Polynesian Resort, here's a special pair of Disney EchoEars I've picked out for the occasion:

Welcome to the Disney Echo, Amy!
