Yoo Hoo and hello again, everyone!

"It's summertime, summertime, sum-sum-summertime,summertime,summertime, sum-sum summertime..." Oh, hi, sorry, didn't see you there! (At this point you should be very happy that Usenet doesn't come with sound!) Yes, it's finally summer, but don't run off to the beach or to the movies without firing up the ol' VCR, because we've got some good stuff coming up! We've got shows about Disneyland and Walt Disney World (in equal quantities, no less!), so everyone'll be happy. Everybody neat and pretty? Then on with the listings! (As always, all times are PDT and all shows are on The Disney Channel unless otherwise noted.)

A. Shows About Disney Theme Parks and Resorts

Monday, June 17, 2:00 a.m.:
Walt Disney Presents - "A Further Report on Disneyland/A Tribute To Mickey Mouse"
A pre-opening update on the progress of construction at the Park and a tribute to the world's most famous mouse.

Monday, June 17, 12:00 p.m., and Wednesday, June 19, 8:30 a.m., Travel Channel:
Great Hotels - "Disney's Grand Floridian"
Host Samantha Brown shows us the premier hotel of the Walt Disney World resort and spends some time having fun at the Magic Kingdom.

Tuesday, June 21, 2:00 a.m.:
Walt Disney Presents - "Disneyland's 25th Anniversary"
A 1980 television special commemorating Disneyland's 25th anniversary hosted by Danny Kaye and featuring Michael Jackson, The Osmonds, and numerous other stars in cameo appearances.

Wednesday, June 22, 2:00 a.m.:
"A Progress Report/Nature's Half Acre"
A progress report on the ongoing construction of Disneyland, including stop-motion photography of the construction, a model of Main Street U.S.A. and a drive through the unfilled Jungle Cruise riverbed. The episode also includes a True-Life Adventure on the relationships between inhabitants of a half-acre of grassroots land.

B. Shows With Segments About Disney Theme Parks

Tuesday, June 11, 3:00 p.m., The Learning Channel:
"Secret World Of... Theme Parks"
Explore behind the scenes of America's favorite amusement parks and see what goes into making your day a fun experience. Includes a segment on Disneyland.

C. Shows Taking Place At Disney Theme Parks

Monday, March 11. 12:30 p.m., The Learning Channel:
A Wedding Story -"Kelly and Robert"
A couple prepares for their fairy-tale Disney wedding at WDW's Grand Floridian Resort.

Thursday, June 20, 9:30 a.m., ABC Family:
Step By Step - "We're Going To Disney World (Part 1)"
Frank's mom treats everyone to a trip to WDW, but there's some unexpected baggage - Rich and Flash; J.T. and Rick don't waste any time in pursuing girls. Special guest: June Lockhart.

Friday, June 21, 9:30 a.m., ABC Family:
Step By Step - "We're Going To Disney World (Conclusion)"
During a trip to WDW, Flash tries to break a record for visiting every attraction, money and women come between J.T. and Rick, and the girls argue over a singing contest.

And that's it! Have a fun two weeks, don't forget your suntan lotion and your big floppy hat if you're going out into the sun, and I'll see you back here again soon. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some more singing to do! "In the summertime, when the weather is fine, you can step right up and touch the sky..."
