Yoo Hoo, Disney EchoEars!
This message area of the Disney Echo is named Club 33, our way of paying homage to the real members-only club marked with a simple address sign at 33 Royal Street and hidden away in New Orleans Square at Disneyland.
Carol and I have been lucky enough to dine at this private club, as have many other Disney fans who either have friends who are members or, like us, paid for the experience while attending a Disney convention in order to go through its mysterious doorway near the entrance to the Blue Bayou restaurant and enjoy this elegant club above New Orleans Square.
If you would like to share a trip report from your experience inside Disneyland's Club 33, this is the place to post it. If you would like to find out more information about Disneyland's Club 33, <a href="http://www.snopes.com/disney/parks/club33.htm" target="_new">check out snopes.com</a>.
While Disneyland's Club 33 carries out Walt's idea for an elegant, exclusive club, there are many other Disney club's available to everyone. One such club is not affiliated with Disney but is run by Disney enthusiasts and is known as the NFFC, a worldwide organization of Disney fans who meet in local NFFC chapters as well as NFFC-sponsored Disneyana conventions held throughout the year. For information about the NFFC, see their <a href="http://www.nffc.org" target="_new">nffc.org website</a>.
Another section of this Club 33 area of the Disney Echo is NFFC-NOLA, the New Orleans, Louisiana chapter of the NFFC known as "Louiseyana Disneyana." This club is always ready to welcome new Disney fans to its meetings, held quarterly in the New Orleans, LA metro area. While the club is open to everyone, the NFFC-NOLA area of the Disney Echo is a private forum for the club's members and guests.
