I can see if the kids don't like too much action or thrilling sequences then they wouldn't like Finding Nemo. It is very funny, but also very intense in the action it contains. So I understand how your kids didn't care for it.

It will be out on DVD in November, I hear. So, you might want to get it and see if later when they're older they want to watch it then. Or don't get it. Just a suggestion.

It was more thrilling than any other Disney/Pixar film.  My son had his ups and downs.  I do think it was jam packed with humor intended for adults.

I personally LOVED it!  It will be on my shopping list in November!

"Mr. Ray" sues Pixar, says hurt by "Finding Nemo"

Children's entertainer Ray Yodlowsky, known as Mr. Ray in parts of New Jersey, says he's suing Disney and Pixar over their use of the "Mr. Ray" manta ray school teacher in Finding Nemo. He and his lawyer are claiming Disney/Pixar's use of the "Mr. Ray" name would "obliterate and destroy Plaintiff's reputation" and the market for his products. So, taking a cue from Spike Lee who sued and settled with Viacom over the name "Spike TV," the real Mr. Ray is suing for $10 million.

Geesh...

Here's the complete story.

Legally his name is not 'Mr. Ray' it's Mr. Yodlowsky, so what's his problem?

Greed :suspect:

Anybody remember the old running joke on Rowan & Martin's "Laugh-In"...

"You can call me Ray, ..."

I'm still trying to figure out how "Mr. Ray the manta ray school teacher" is going to destroy this guys reputation.  "Mr. Ray" is a good teacher not a bad guy.

Went to see it again Saturday at the drive-in!  Was just as good as the first time!  DS loved it again and DH thought it was pretty good.

This time, I stayed and watched all of the credits.  Got to see some things I missed the first time.

Can't wait until this comes to DVD!
