Finding Nemo opened this morning and I was there for the first show. I give it two fins up ( one of them a "lucky" fin! )
:D

I'm not going to post about the movie so those who haven't seen it yet won't have any parts ruined for them, but I wanted to tell you that all 3 of us meeces loved it to pieces. It's funny, thrilling, and touching. I can tell when a Disney or Disney/Pixar movie is good enough to interest me with its characters and story by if it makes me cry. ( BTW, Atlantis did not make me cry and I don't consider it a good movie. ) Yes, Finding Nemo made me cry.
:tear:

Here's an article which includes spoilers (so beware) about where the Pizza Planet delivery truck can be found in Finding Nemo as well as many other in-jokes in that movie and others by Pixar and Disney.

Full details.

Carol, Michael and I saw Finding Lilo Nemo ( I can't believe I did that! ) again this morning, with a bunch of people locally from the Disney Echo who we met in person face-to-face for the first time.
Good to meet you all! I'm sure we'll do it again and again. Just as I suspected from reading their messages, they're all very nice people.

Well, thanks to everyone who saw Finding Nemo this weekend, Disney and Pixar set a new opening record for an animated film, surpassing the $62.5 million benchmark set by Disney & Pixar with "Monsters Inc." in November 2001.

Finding Nemo is at the top at the box-office in the U.S.'s this weekend, which is the movie's opening weekend of course. It made $70.6 million in ticket sales. It beat out Universal's "Bruce Almighty," which made $35.6 million this weekend. And remember, many of Finding Nemo's ticket sales were for kids, which cost less than adult tickets at most showings - - and I bet "Bruce Almighty" had more adults watching it than Finding Nemo did, so that makes Nemo's win even more impressive.

LOL

Thanks for telling me! I just edited it in the original message.

Hey, maybe I just read the minds of Disney animators working on a sequel to Lilo & Stitch in light of how well Finding Nemo has done at the box office!
:wink2:
