Here's an idea for Mickey head Christmas ornaments....buy some headbands that have 2 glitter Mickey heads on them...they come in different colors. Then, take the Mickey heads off, glue a bow under the chin and a ribbon on top between the ears to use to hang on your tree! The headbends cost $6 each and you get 2 ornaments out of it.

My DD, I guess, was too cool and grown-up for character autographs this time, and my 4 yr old couldn't have cared less.  DDs got wet during the gigantic rainstorm the night of SOA, so it went in the trash, never used.  DS's I'm saving for my trip in October because we did get a couple of autographs:  Suzy, Perla, Minnie, and Pluto.

Another Project?

For our trip in January there will be 4 adults and 1 teenager and 1 child.  I saw a program on tv about decorating gift bags, so I of course have put a Disney twist on it.

I am creating welcome bags for everyone in our party.  I purchased large plain colored gift bags at the dollar tree, pink, white, maroon, pale orange, hunter green, etc), and with the Disney's Print Studio's (and imported clipart from the Internet) I am decorating them with each persons name and favorite character.

Each bag also has a cut out pocket from an old pair of jeans glued to it and decorated.   Make sure to leave the top of the pocket open to place an item in.

This has been such a fun way to pass the time.   The theme's have been fun, we have:

   Beauty & The Beast
   Eeyore
   Pooh
   Tigger
Front (Nightmare Before Christmas) Back (Stitch)
Front (Pirates of the Carribean) :pirate: Back (Grumpy)

My son and husband couldn't decide on a favorite, and each picked two!

When they are finished, I'll post pictures.

I also make a weekly trip to the dollar tree for Disney Items, so far I have found:

   Disney Stickers
   Disney Pez Dispensers
Large Glow Lights (very expensive in the parks)
Battery operated fans (different trip - not Jan)
My hot glue gun and glue
   Great ribbons for decorating etc.
Little wreaths to use as ears for my Mickey Wreath and
strings of white lights to wrap them in!

I also used Disney Print Studios to make Holiday Mousekeeping Envelopes for a trip in December.

Disney Print Studios has so many more craft projects to help pass the time especially for someone who is more computer than craft oriented.
