I tried this once before, but I think I've got everything worked out. Sorry for the long absence; I've had a hilarious series of computer mishaps (crashed 4 of 'em this month!;).

You can see most of my trip report (I still have pictures to get developed!;) at http://bethsworld.topcities.com . If that gives you trouble, you can also see the same thing at http://bethsworld.8m.com .

I hope you enjoy the story!

Beth :minnie:

Yoo Hoo, Beth!

I love your trip report, too -- and you took wonderful pictures!

The next time you're in a Disney park on the day it is your birthday, tell the Cast Members! For example, if you had been visiting the Magic Kingdom on that day, upon entering go directly to City Hall and let them know. At other Disney parks, go to their equivalent of City Hall. You'll be pleasantly surprised at what happens, I think.

When I was planning our first visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom, I thought we'd stay about a half day and then do other things, just as you did. And just like you, we found we loved the place even more than we expected and stayed the entire day there!

I've never been as close to a Bengal Tiger (or any other kind of tiger, come to think of it) as I was there!

I'll say! The picture you included in your trip report shows you got very close! We didn't make it to the India section on our trip but will be sure to head over there next time.

After a water stop where we refilled our mugs with icy cold water from one of the fountains we headed off to India and the Maharajah Jungle Trek.

I hope you mean you refilled your mugs from one of the drinking fountains and not one of the decorative fountains!

I'm glad you enjoyed Pizzafari, but next time take my advice and try the Tusker House Restaurant in Harambe village. The rotisserie chicken is delicious! Tastes just like chicken! Sorry, couldn't resist. Actually, it was the best rotisserie chicken I've ever had, anywhere, plus you get to see the wall-o-chicken where they are cooked. Very unusual!

You wrote that you loved the boat ride to Downtown Disney from Port Orleans. Us, too! What a wonderful bonus for staying at that resort (although, of course, anyone can use it... it is most convenient when you are staying there).

At Epcot you mentioned that you enjoyed Morocco's "desert and coffee bar" -- boy, those Disney folks really go in for the themed experience! (Morroco... desert... get it?)

Thanks so much for your wonderful trip report. I especially enjoyed the part about your Disney cruise. It was as if I was there with you, looking around and enjoying it all. BTW, I could only view the "Navigator for Nassau Day, Page 1" - - Page 2, 3 & 4 aren't working. :unhappy:

Thanks again, Beth!
