Okay everybody, as promised to Rich I am going to use this thread here to post about the new House Of Mouse episodes being broadcast on Fridays and Saturdays at 9/8c! Because the same new show is repeated twice, that means I can see it on Friday and share with you all in advance what it will be before it re-airs on Saturday evening. Enjoy!

Here we go! It's so cool to know I can finally contribute something worthwhile to this wonderful board. I'm all enthusiam  :mickey:

Here's the never-before-seen all new episode of House Of Mouse that's going to be broadcast tomorrow on Saturday, October 17th!

"House Of Genius"

And you thought upgrading Windows could be a nightmare when facing major conflict issues! Von Drake has taken it upon himself to (get this) upgrade the House Of Mouse club! This is something that has to be seen to be believed, and I'll just say that the very first maneuver to do so proclaims the show "38% more efficient". (!?!?!?! )

I just want to make one comment here: a lot of Disney artists and writers are obviously extremely peeved with the recent layoff problems to have created this episode! Seriously, it appears to be a very sarcastic statement regarding Disney itself and the current Hollywood marketing ideas regarding computer animation in this country. The artists have spoken and struck back!
:eyebrow:

Two cartoons are featured:

Ludwig Von Drake
"Futurmania"

This all-new cartoon with a freshly-animated new intro (as opposed to the one they were re-using with different objects in the beaker) shows Ludwig Von Drake demonstrating to us what life in the future will be like and how much more blissful and convenient it will be, using Mickey, Donald and Goofy as his guinea pigs. Very funny and highly recommended! And wait'll you see the "tubless tub"!

Mickey Mouse
"Mickey's Mechanical House"

This is a recycled short, I think it was featured on the Mickey's House Of Villains Halloween DVD. Title says it all.

That's what's up tomorrow for Saturday night!

:clapping:

The new House Of Mouse episode on "The New For You Show" that will be broadcast tomorrow evening on Saturday, October 24 will be as follows!

"Mickey And The Culture Clash"

Nosy busybody Clarabelle Cow starts a rumor that Minnie Mouse supposedly doesn't find Mickey "sophisticated enough" any more and is now searching for a new boyfriend! So Mickey sets up to impress her and win her back - with Mortimer's help!?

Featured cartoons are:

1. Mickey Mouse "Mickey's Piano Lesson"

Minnie wants Mickey to practice playing the piano so he can join her in a big performance. I confess that the opening shot of Mickey with his walkman is all too much like me while I'm strolling around downtown with my own on!

2. Silly Symphony "Dance Of The Goofys"

Recycled cartoon featured on the "Mickey's House Of Villains" DVD featuring several goofys decked out in yellow leotards flitting about as fairys.

3. "Maestro Minnie" segment

I love this one, Minnie is conducting a lullaby. And that's all I'll give away. ;)

Man I'm really struggling with my net connection tonight. But anyway -

Looks like I can't preview the latest House Of Mouse for you guys tonight. The New For You Show has apparently been cancelled this evening for Halloween oriented movies, so they aren't showing the latest House Of Mouse tonight. However if they show it tomorrow (I'm sure they will) I'll go ahead and describe it for you guys anyway in case you're curious to know what it is.

Looks like it's official, The New For You Show was apparently cancelled for this week. According to today's DirecTV schedule, Toon Disney will be showing a House Of Mouse episode at the usual time but it's a rerun - "Ladies Night". Now there's always the possibility that the schedule listing is wrong, ya know know. But so far it appears there will be no new House Of Mouse being broadcast this evening.

On to next week! :mickey:

Have we seen the last of House Of Mouse?

This is the second week in a row The New For You Show has been completely cancelled. Could Mickey and the gang have the lights lowered at the moment in honor of Mike?

Will Disney attempt to find a new voice? Will The New For You Show go back on the air or has it been permanently cancelled?

I have no idea at the moment. I don't know what's going on yet. All I know is that this week it has been cancelled again. Sorry, no new House Of Mouse again for this week either, folks. :(

Thanks for letting us know, Chris.

There weren't that many unaired ("new") episodes left when House of Mouse went out of production and you've seen, what, 3 or 4 new episodes in the last few weeks on Toon Disney? I'd be willing to bet there aren't any more unaired episodes now.

You're welcome Rich.

Unfortunately, I suspect you're correct. I haven't even seen any ads for The New For You Show at all (which includes other shows in it too), but then to be fair I haven't been watching a lot of tv either. All we can do is wait and see.

If anything new does appear I'll let all you guys know.
