Sail the Seas and Support the Breast Cancer Cause

New Pink Ribbon Cruise Vacations from CI Travel

NAPLES, Fla., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Helping in the fight against breast cancer is now as easy as booking a cruise thanks to a new program called Pink Ribbon Cruises. CI Travel has partnered with breast cancer survivors and cruise lines to create a program through which a portion of the company's commissions on any cruise booking will be donated to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade to fund access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer.

While the program is valid for virtually any cruise booked through the program, CI Travel has put together a special package onboard the Disney Magic® for a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise departing September 20, 2003. In addition to helping the fight against breast cancer, Pink Ribbon cruisers will get invitations to special gatherings, have opportunities to meet special guests and receive gifts and amenities. A special booking incentive is also being offered: those who reserve their space during the week of February 1 - 7, 2003 will receive an onboard credit of $100 per cabin for balcony staterooms and suites, or $75 per cabin for all other stateroom types.

Joining the cruise will be leading independent Disney aficionado and breast cancer survivor Deb Wills, the creator of AllEarsNet and the globally acclaimed Disney resource site http://www.wdwig.com. Also joining the cruise will be Chuck Wagner (http://www.ChuckWagner.com), a well-known Broadway
musical actor who has starred in over 1,200 performances of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, and his wife Susan, also a breast cancer survivor.

CI Travel set the goals of the program to offer a great vacation, a competitive price and outstanding customer service, while also supporting the fight against breast cancer, the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women.

"CI Travel is to be commended for creating Pink Ribbon Cruises," says Wills. "Not only are they giving back to the community, but they're making it easy to do good -- while having a good time. Unfortunately, one in eight women will be diagnosed with this disease, now the leading cause of death in women ages 35 to 54."

"The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade is proud to be the beneficiary of funds raised by Pink Ribbon Cruises," said Susan Arnot Heaney, director, Avon Breast Cancer Crusade. "The program matches the mission of the Avon Crusade to increase awareness of breast cancer and raise funds that we will award for research, care, services, education and early detection programs."

About the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade
The mission of the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade (http://www.avoncrusade.com), which was first launched in the U.K. in 1992, is to support access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer, with a focus on reaching medically underserved women. The Avon Crusade expanded to the U.S. in 1993, and now supports breast cancer programs in 50 countries. Funds raised by the Avon Crusade in the U.S. are managed and disbursed by the Avon Foundation, an accredited 501©(3) public charity.  In October 2002, the Avon Crusade reached its 10-year goal of $250 million net in total funds raised for the breast cancer cause worldwide.

About CI Travel
CI Travel is a $160 million company with more than 50 locations and is an affiliate of TRAVELSAVERS, INC., one of the leading international marketing organizations. Pink Ribbon Cruises may only be booked through the program's website, http://www.PinkRibbonCruises.com. Only new bookings are eligible for Pink Ribbon Cruises.
