So, tell me....what's your favorite MK resort and why is it your favorite?

Just so you know, I voted for the Wilderness Lodge.  I have yet to stay at the Contemporary.

Oops, I forgot to add my WHY.

I absolutely LOVE the WL theming.  I love the music playing in the lobby and by the pool, I love the aroma of the lodge when you walk in, I love the boat dock......aaah

I wish I could vote, but I don't think it would be right. I wouldn't be able to give an honest evaluation, as I've never been to any of them.  But, I don't think I would get a big kick out of WL, just because I live in the Pacific Northwest and can basically have all that in my backyard.  I guess that's why we picked the Poly to stay at this time.  We wanted to go to the tropics.  I like the exterior esthetic of the Grand Floridian, though.  It appeals to me personally, but I didn't think it would be up my husband's alley.  The Contemporary, I don't know, it just seems so UNContemporary, a little dated.  I know people say that about the Poly, but I agree with Tikiman, it really has authentic colors and styles for the theme.

My two cents.  Big whoop, huh?!

Absolutely! All Disney opinions here count, Becky.

And I'd say go ahead and vote, if you want. Even though you haven't stayed at one of the WDW Resorts yet, you certainly know enough about their theming to be able to decide what appeals to you the most.

By the way, my fave is the Polynesian. Besides the great Tiki-style theming, the friendly atmosphere, the volcano pool, the welcoming lei they give everyone, the security guard saying "Welcome home" when you drive up, there's one more thing: I just can't get out of my mind that great view we had from our room!

Gotta be Polynesian. Big time.
