Guess what? Disney has released a Christmas album and it looks like it's brand new as it's dated 2003! It's called Disney's Family Christmas and only costs around $10 or so according to the Disney store. Cool price for a CD there

Samples of a few of the tracks can be heard at amazon.com, it appears to be a mix of Disney characters singing traditional favorites like Jingle Bells (I love the Jingle Bells sample on amazon.com :) )to more serious performances of traditional carols.

A special plus - I don't know for sure how common it is, but this is the first Disney Christmas carol collection I've seen released in a long time that also features traditional Christian hymns such as Away In A Manger. I'm particularly touched by that. Way to go Disney! :mickey:

Here's a link to it and what the cover looks like:

Disney's Family Christmas Collection

Click above to hear the sample tracks.

If you order the CD (or anything else at Amazon.com) through that link, you'll be helping out the Disney Echo.

Hey, Chris! If you act fast, you can take what you wrote above and be the first one to review the CD on Amazon.com!

(Psst! Take the opporTOONity to plug the Disney Echo, too, while you're at it.)

Thanks Chris!  I think this one is a keeper!  My DS will love it!

I have 2 Disney Christmas CD's now and we haven't stopped listening to them since last Christmas LOL

Rich, is there a link to Amazon on any pages of the Echo (outside of threads)?  I ask because I'll be starting my Christmas shopping - and a lot of it will be through Amazon (ToysRUs).  With the 2 boys, it'll be a hefty order.  Anyhow, if I can help the echo by doing my normal shopping, then that's what I'll do!!

Yes, there is a link to Amazon.com that benefits the Disney Echo on every page of the forum at the bottom. It currently has the Disney TV set on it.

But any of the links I highlight here to Amazon.com can be used for buying anything that they have -- they work for any other pages you then click on or search for at amazon.com -- and they still credit the Disney Echo when you order.

Thanks for asking! :santa:

You're welcome :mickey: Hopefully you'll have better luck with amazon.com than I am at the moment. I'm struggling with it this very sec as I write this. I think I may have to try what do they call it? "Clearing the cache" or something like that with IE?

I just tried reviewing it on amazon, I sure hope it worked. My connection's being a pain and I keep getting bumped off the net, I sure hope they took my review :unhappy:

Well, it hasn't shown up yet, but maybe they look over the reviews and they aren't posted automatically.

I think you're right.

I guess their going over it and posting it also depends if they allow me to mention boards and such in my comment. I said the collection was recommended by the Echo and that if it was purchased through amazon at the above link that it would also help out the Echo. I hope they allow that :uhoh:
