Yoo Hoo, Disney EchoEars!

If you can't figure out how to do something in the Disney Echo and don't see the answer in this section or after clicking the red 'Help' link in the grey box above, then reply to this message and describe what you're trying to do.

I've tried three times to make an intro topic now. Two didn't show up at all and the other had no text, it was any empty topic. Just to let you know so you can try and get the problem fixed.

Yoo Hoo, Diablo!

I am truly sorry. I just figured out that when we upgraded to the latest version of Ikonboard as the Disney Echo's message forum engine, this new version defaults to all posts needing to be reviewed by one of the moderatEARS  :)  before any of the topics can be seen.

I didn't know that! :oh: But I do now and I approved the messages that were waiting approval (unless some were duplicates, like yours).

I've now set things so that no registered Disney EchoEars need to wait for their new messages or replies to be approved, just like it used to be here on the Disney Echo before we upgraded.

I'm glad this is now straightened out! If anyone has any trouble or has questions, please email me at Rich Koster @ (remove the spaces from that address before pasting that into your email program's outgoing address line for it to work). Or reply here!

Can you please explain to me how to post a picture??

Sure! When you post a new message or reply to an existing one, you'll see Mouseke-Code Buttons above the text box where you are entering your message.

One of these buttons is "Image" ... When you click it another window opens with the prompt "Enter the complete URL for the image" and an entry box which has started the web address entry for you by having "http://" in it. Just fill in the rest of that box so it shows the complete address of where your picture is located on the world wide web. When you've done that, click the "Done" button in that window and it will close. This places the Mouseke-Code into your text message, at the bottom of what you've currently written in the message text box. (Note: if you want to put the image someplace else other than that position, just cut and paste the code into the part of your message you want the picture to appear. An upcoming upgrade to the Disney Echo will put the code wherever you have your text cursor in that text box, but right now it places it at the bottom.)

I hope this helps, Cindy! Let me know if you have any other questions.
