I have been trying to get a job at the DS since they opened at Regency Square here in Richmond... (that store closed this year but there are two others left).... Anyway, about three weeks ago, I put in one of the pre- aps that they give out... one of the managers gave it to me when we were talking about the parks one day I was in there.  They called me this past monday, and I went for an interview last night with one other applicant... don't know if I got the seasonal job yet, but this is as close as I've ever gotten!  Maybe I'll get to work for them before they are sold... of course, the ultimate would be to work at WDW, but, I can't make that kind of life change at my age... well, I could if they hired me!  LOL.... I still wish Disney had built that park up in Northern VA... I think they would have added to the History of our great state, but now we'll never know...I did at least have a "Disney" advantage at the interview... I understood all the CM jargon the manger spoke... (without a translator!   :D )  I also have more retail experience... but, the other lady was nice, and a lot quieter...I tend to get a bit bousterious!  Never had that impression at all did you?  Especially about Disney!

Yoo Hoo, Marsha!

We're all pullin' for you here! And this couldn't hurt: a bit of extra pixie dust for good luck...
