There had been a rumor that Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders would have a Sneak Preview of Twilight Zone on November 18th and 19th. If you are an AP-holder at DLR, please let us know if there was any truth to that rumor.

Hey Echoears,

Does anyone know what the event entails. I was interested in going.

Yoo Hoo, Capt'n Jack!

If you are a DLR Annual Passholder, there is a special AP-only area of < Disneyland.com > which you can log in to. Please see if there are details about that AP event there -- and if there are, please add them to this thread here on the Disney Echo.

Disneyland® Resort Taking Thrills to New Heights With 'Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror™' Opening May 4, 2004

Exhilarating Attraction Latest Addition to Disney's California Adventure™

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- "The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror," a chilling supernatural thrill ride based on "a lost episode" of the classic Twilight Zone® television series will have its grand opening on Tuesday, May 4, 2004 in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot area of Disney's California Adventure.

Matt Ouimet, president of the Disneyland Resort, said, "The addition of this spectacular attraction to Disney's California Adventure is another step in the ongoing evolution of the park. We anticipate our guests will be impressed with our updated version of the Tower of Terror, where it has proven to be wildly popular at Walt Disney World."

Set in an abandoned Hollywood luxury hotel, "The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror" temps guests to leave reality behind as they experience the sheer thrills of Disney's free fall into fear. Each ride offers a drop of 13 "faster-than-the-speed-of-gravity" stories and amazing special effects that will leave guests clinging to the edge of reality and wanting to do it over and over and over, if they dare.

"Wherever you go in the park, you'll be able to look up and see these careening, out of control cabs full of screaming guests. They'll be having such a great time that everyone will want to experience this tower," said Cory Sewelson, Walt Disney Imagineer.

"The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror" will be a Disney's FASTPASS® attraction, enabling guests to receive a voucher listing a computer-assigned boarding time. This is an alternative to waiting in line, and allows more time to visit other attractions, dine or shop before returning to ride at the designated boarding time.

Do I really want to try this ride??

I don't think I can handle that one! So far I've always chickened out! :blush2:

Chris, I am afraid of my own shadow, literally, and the dark... But at WDW this is my absolute favorite ride!  I love it!  I think you should at least try it.... :o
