Where do you live in Northern Michigan...We live in Grand Rapids, MI.  My SIL lives in Harbor Springs, MI and they HomeSchool too (as well as being WDW fans! ).

We just remember your wife working at the register in the Meadows Trading Post and asking your daugthers if they had all of their school work done.

We usually stay in the 600 loop with our MH and have never considered the 1700 loop.  We like to be able to walk to the boat if the buses are busy. However, maybe we should request the 1700 loop since it seems popular with the homeschool crowd.

We would love to meet your friends during our stay (12/6-12/13).  Maybe well will have to walk the 1700 loop looking for potential homeschool families.

We live in Western NY. Our friends live in Traverse City. They have a class C motorhome and have two nice, loud (when you walk by) and very white Bijon Frieze (have no idea how to spell it, I was public schooled) dogs. They most likely will be in the 1700 loop too. Walk around, listen and look for the dogs. You'll not miss them when you go by.

A few weeks ago, we had a WDW-FW reunion in Manchester, MI. Three couples met up at a 4th couples farm and spent a few days together cooking out and stuff.  We plugged into various barns and just talked about how soon we were all getting back to WDW. Was a great time.

I am trying to catch up on reading posts here, and continue to explore this fabulous site. I am so excited to run across this thread made just for me! I am the mom of a fort wilderness homeschooler family. We do not have plans to be there this winter, but there is always hope. It is reassuring to know that there are so many lovers of disney with so much in common. I homeschool my 15 yr old son, and have two elementary age children in school. Two of my kids have disabilities, and FW is ideal for the structure we need and cost savings!

I have no idea which loop we will be on, but we will be there during your stay!  We have 3 boys whom we homeschool.  Our trailer will have some Christmas decorations- you will see at least 1 white spiral lighted tree and serveral lit candy canes.  Also planning to make a big "hidden mickey" wreath for our front end  :)

If you see us, (anyone for that matter! ) please say "hello" - I would love to meet any other homeschoolers.

Also, I wanted to add, we are in the middle of DISNEY SCHOOL which is a 30 day unit study on - you guessed it - Walt Disney World!  We are on day 3 and having a blast! :hula:

Be sure to look us up. We have a Bounder motorhome but the kangaroo on the front has been replaced with a silhouette of some round character with round ears. Not sure who it is but it's over the drivers side front window. Hopefully, we'll be in one of the first 7 sites in the 1700 loop.
