I read on another message board (sorry - I strayed) that the music and narration for Wishes is not piped into the resorts/restaurants as it was in the past. Can anyone here confirm or deny this?

I made PS at the California Grill specifically to watch the fireworks. Now I'm not so sure its worth spending that much on dinner without the "whole show". I'll watch from the
Poly beach for free, maybe with a LavaFlow.

Thanks for any info.

Hi there,

We just got back from our trip and I do know that the night we ate at the Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary, we were able to watch the fireworks after our meal  :pixiedust: perfect timing :pixiedust: out on the observation deck and the music/narration was piped in there.

At the Poly, we had the best view and best audio standing at the marina, near the rental stand... some speakers were louder than others.

We were in the park for one of the Wishes shows, but we actually liked it better from outside the park.  You were really able to enjoy it more, and be able the see the fireworks going off surrounding the park-- in the words of our 6yo

 those were AWESOME COOL

This is literally true - - the music and narration is not piped into the resorts/restaurants as it was in the past.

Wanna know why? Because the music and narration has changed! It is not the same music and narration that it was when the fireworks were "Fantasy in the Sky" rather than "Wishes"!! (But it is still piped in -- that remains the same.)
:tounge:

I heard "Wishes" personally on October 2nd alongside the beach at the volcano pool at the Polynesian Resort, when it was being presented at the Magic Kingdom as a CM preview.
:pixiedust:

Oh, and it is okay to read other message boards, too... Just don't drink the Kool Aid.
