Yoo Hoo and aloha, everyone!

There's something odd going on in the listings this time out, folks; while we have several programs featuring the Disney parks to watch this time out, almost all of them seem to be airing on the Travel Channel, and the one show that isn't is on Travel Channel's sister station, the Discovery Channel - there are no shows about the parks airing on TDC. { I wonder if Stitch has been "borrowing" shows to watch from the TDC film vault again! :) } Well, at least the programs we have are good ones! Here's what's coming up. (As always, all times are PDT and all programs are on The Disney Channel unless... oh yeah, there aren't any shows on TDC this time. OK, see the listings for the channel, then!)

A. Shows About Disney Theme Parks and Resorts

Tuesday, June 25, 8;30 a.m., and Thursday, June 27, 12:00 p.m., Travel Channel:
Great Hotels - "Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge"
Host Samantha Brown  takes us on a tour of Walt Disney World's newest resort, including a special early-morning safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Tuesday, July 2, 8:30 a.m, Travel Channel:
Great Hotels: "Disney's Yacht & Beach Club"
Host Samantha Brown takes us on a tour of  Walt Disney World's seaside-themed resorts and nearby attractions, such as Disney's Boardwalk and Epcot's World Showcase. Watch as Samantha finds out why the sundae at Beaches and Cream is called "The Kitchen Sink!"

B. Shows With Segments About Disney Theme Parks and Resorts

Wednesday, June 26, 5:00 p.m. & 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, June 29, 9:00 a.m., Travel Channel:
"Family Vacation In Orlando"
Attractions in Orlando, FL, include Walt Disney World, Sea World, the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios, and Cypress Gardens. (Poster's note: This program contains only a couple of minutes of footage of the Walt Disney World Resort. There has been some negative feedback on rec.arts.disney.parks about the lack of Disney footage in this program.)

Wednesday, June 26, 6:00 p.m. & 9:00 p.m., and Saturday, June 29, 3:00 p.m., Travel Channel:
America's Best Waterparks"
A program featuring a countdown of America's top 10 water parks includes a segment on Walt Disney World's Blizzard Beach, with brief looks at Typhoon Lagoon and River Country.

Sunday, June 30, 7:00 p.m.and 10:00 p.m., and Saturday, July 6, 7:00 p.m. & 10:00 p.m., Travel Channel:
"Coasters of the West: Terrifying Thrills"
Explore the thrills and chills of some of America's most exciting rollercoasters, how rollercoasters evolved, and the visionaries who pioneered them. Includes a segment on California Screamin' at Disney's California Adventure and a brief look at the Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland.

Thursday, July 4, 11:00 a.m., Discovery Channel:
"Seven Wonders of America"
A program discussing some of America's largest and most impressive man-made creations includes a segment on the ships of the Disney Cruise Line.

And that's it for the listings for this time! Everyone have a happy and safe Independence Day weekend - especially if you got all 5 days off, you lucky dog, you! - and I'll talk to you again soon. Now if you'll excuse me, surf's up - I've got some waves to catch! Hey, where's my new surfboard? What the... STITCH, COME BACK HERE WITH MY SURFBOARD!!!  I'M TELLING LILO!!! ...
'Bye, everyone!
