+---Topic: Height when applying for character positions started by Goofyteer

I'm curious with some characters being taller than others and many of them being huge, does that mean that chances are limited with who can get what character positions?
For example, characters like Goofy are really tall. I haven't met very many women who are as tall as the Goofy character is (or seems to be), does that mean that chances are more likely that mostly men would get that position? Or maybe a really super tall lady.
Casting must be a pain at times for characters when everybody is all so varied in size. Is this the reason why some characters don't seem to come out as often? I can't imagine how short someone playing Donald Duck would have to be.

Height ranges are generally 4'8" to 6'3", with special consideration given to those 4'8"-5'. I would imagine that Donald is in the 4'8" range, with Mickey & Minnie around 5', and maybe Chip 'n' Dale around 5'2" to 5'4"(?) . . just guessing on those. It makes sense that most of the shorter characters are played by females.
