Yoo Hoo and hello again, everyone - hope you had a great 4th of July!

The theme for this week's listings ought to be "you want it, we got it". Want to see a show on DL in the 50's? Got it. Want to see WDW in the late 70's or are a big fan of the 70's MMC? Got a show for you, too. Want to see what resort Samantha Brown's going to hop on the beds and couches on this time? :) We've got her, too! We've even got WDW in sitcoms for you sitcom fans. Here's what's coming up. (As always, all times listed are PDT and all shows are on The Disney Channel unless otherwise noted.)

A. Shows About Disney Theme Parks and Resorts

Saturday, July 13, 2:00 a.m.:
Walt Disney Presents -"Disneyland, the Park & Pecos Bill"
A 1957 look at how the Magic Kingdom came about, including Walt taking us on an aerial tour of the Park and featuring an appearance by the Mouseketeers. This episode also features Roy Rogers singing "Blue Shadows on the Trail" and the story of Pecos Bill.

Sunday, July 14, 8:00 a.m., Travel Channel:
Great Hotels - "Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge"
Host Samantha Brown  takes us on a tour of Walt Disney World's newest resort, including a special early-morning safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Tuesday, July 16, 2:00 a.m.:
Walt Disney Presents - "The Mouseketeers at Walt Disney World"
Members of the New Mickey Mouse Club (Note: That's the 1977 MMC, not the 80's one with Britney and Christina!) travel to Florida to perform and explore the Vacation Kingdom.  Featuring Jo Anne Worley, Ronnie Schell, and Dennis Underwood.

Wednesday, July 17, 2:00 a.m.:
Walt Disney Presents - "Magic Highway U.S.A."
A show about the past, present (circa 1958) and future (also circa 1958 - more than a few predictions were off) of America's highways. Disneyland fans will recognize the segment on the future of highways from the pre-show area of "Rocket Rods" as well as what became known later on as the "Disneyland Monorail Song" on the soundtrack.

B. Shows With Segments About Disney Theme Parks

Monday, July 15, 2:00 a.m.:
Walt Disney Presents - "50 Happy Years"
A 50th anniversary salute to Walt Disney Productions, featuring Studios footage from the 20's through "Robin Hood." Contains a few moments of footage of the parks near the end of the program.

C. Shows Taking Place At Disney Theme Parks

Thursday, July 11, 3:30 p.m., TBS Superstation:
Roseanne - "We're Going to Disney World"
Roseanne decides to use Dan's severance check to take the family to Walt Disney World.

Thursday, July 11, 8:30 p.m., PAX -TV:
Dave's World - "It's A Small Van After All"
The Barrys and their friends endure various misadventures while on their annual trip to Walt Disney World.

Monday, July 15, 3:30 p.m., TBS Superstation:
Roseanne - "Disney World War II"
Walt Disney World has a profound effect on Roseanne's usually complaining brood.

Well, folks, that's about it for this time! As for me, I'm going to Disneyland - next week is the annual convention of the NFFC, The Club for Disneyana Enthusiasts (try to say that one three times fast!), and my beautiful fiancée and I, who are both proud members, will be attending. If you see me running around, please stop and say "hi"! Hope you folks have a wonderful summer; take care, and I'll talk to you again soon.

SPECIAL NOTICE: MISSING - One new "Lilo and Stitch" surfboard. Last seen June 23 being carried away by small blue alking "dog." Warning: "Dog" is (four-)armed and has been known to imitate Elvis. If found, please e-mail me so that we can arrange for its safe return (the board, not the "dog").
