Please join us as The Studio Chapter welcomes Disney author and archivist Robert Tieman as our guest at our annual holiday party on December 21st.

Robert is the author of the recently published book “The Disney Treasures”, a history of the Walt Disney Company featuring reproductions of rare and unusual items from the company archives. He’ll be joining us to talk about his book and to answer questions that members and guests might have about the book and his experiences working at the Disney Archives.

In addition to Robert’s presentation, we’ll be having our annual Chapter holiday party!  Our holiday party is a potluck party - we’re asking members to bring along their favorite holiday treats for everyone to share (non-members are welcome to bring a food item, but it’s not required). Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a gift exchange; please bring a Disney gift valued at no more than $10 if you’d like to participate.

Still not enough to do? We’ll also be having a silent auction of Disney memorabilia; here’s a perfect opportunity to pick up a special Christmas gift for your favorite Disney fan while helping the Chapter! Our members will also be electing the Chapter board of directors for 2004.  As an added bonus, you’ll be close enough to walk from our meeting location to see the LADWP 2003 Holiday Light Festival after the party.  With all these things to do, you’re bound to have a great time.  Take a break from your Christmas shopping and join us for a fun and exciting afternoon!

The Studio Chapter meets at 1:00 p.m. in the Mary Pickford Education Center at the Autry Museum of Western Heritage, located in Griffith Park at the intersection of the 5 and 134 Freeways, directly across from the LA Zoo. There is plenty of free parking. Non-members are welcome to attend. For more information or directions, please visit our website, <, > or e-mail Paul Schnebelen at

Paul, when I read your title I must confess that I got all excited, thinking that by LA NFFC you meant our New Orleans, LA (Louisiana) NFFC chapter having a "Disney Treasures & Holiday Party.

Rats! I wish I could go out to L.A. and attend your party. Sounds like a lot of fun!
