Doesn't this website look great? I was thinking about this when looking at the new avatars. It made me think of when I first saw the board I was thinking at first it was official or something. It looks just like I think a Disney website should look! It's a labor of love. And looking at it always makes me happy. :mickey:

I have to agree! This site looks great and, I'll add, has been a lot of fun for me so far. I just thought I should post to let those involved in bringing it to us how grateful I am.

Thanks so much, Chris and disgal! I appreciate your kind words.

I've just changed the background colors used when reading posts and replies, hoping the lighter blue make it easier to read when EchoEars wish to use blue as their text color. While I was at it, I used a pale yellow for every other message in a thread.

Thanks for noticin'!
:)

Even better! It also makes it sort of easier on the eyes to distinguish between messages at a glance.

Oh and Rich, I just noticed something. I just noticed that your avatar appears to be changing every day or something like that. Did you add a feature to let avatars change too? Or is that just something you went ahead and did yourself manually?
;)

I'm just changing the Disney Avatars myself, not magical programming involved.
;)

I added a few new Mickey avatars lately, and I wanted to used them since I'm a big fan of the mouse.

Thanks for the comments on the new message colors.

I like that! It makes me chuckle a bit because it reminds me in a way of the sort of logic like Professor Ratigan used in The Great Mouse Detective! "I had so many I didn't know which to choose! So I decided to use them all!" But I like that, if I was in your position I'd be doing that too!

Everybody take note! It's always a great sign when someone shows this much enthusiasm for what he does cause it means he'll keep taking great care of it and keep adding more cool stuff for us to enjoy! Sort of like a toymaker who loves the toys he makes, the more he enjoys them the more he'll keep making them and improving the quality!

Thanks again Rich! You're the greatest!

Aw, gee thanks, Chris.

And if anyone has any requests for more avatars of their favorite Disney Character (or perhaps I've missed your fave entirely), or you have an idea for a new MickEmoticon, just let me know and I'll do my best to add that to the Disney Echo, too!
