My wife and I are traveling down next year. I would like to know what are the best lv rooms for views of the castle. I have heard that Tahiti upper floors are the best ones. All help would be appreciated.

The best views of the castle are viewed from the lagoon view rooms of Hawaii and Tahiti. As with every longhouse some rooms have palmtrees either near the room or on the beach that can be in the view from any level. In some cases the ground floor is better because you are not looking into the top of the tree and in other cases (such as the east end ground floors of Tahiti) you only see the top of the castle because of the island in the middle of the Seven Seas lagoon. I can't go through every room number and give you a discription of the view but your best bet non-concierge would be 2nd or 3rd floor Tahiti and ground floor west end of Tahiti. Next non-concierge choice for a good view would be Tuvalu than the LV rooms in Aotearoa. My last non-concierge choice would be the two rooms in Tokelau because they face sideways. Now if you are staying conceirge the rooms in Hawaii almost all have unobstructed views of the castle with only a handful that have trees or bushes in part of the view.

Does this make any sense?

We just stayed in room 3024 in Tahiti and the view was AMAZING!  You could see unobstructed the castle, grand floridian and space mountain and by leaning over the rail a little even the dock for the boats at the transportation center.

Just chiming in to say that the castle view from room 2020 in Tahiti was so wonderful I will always remember it as one of the best parts of my last trip.  Actually one of the best parts of any trip! :)
